There are six easy ways to purchase products from Home Direct:
1. Cheque or Credit Card
Simply order over the phone using your credit card or by cheque, for larger items we will individually confirm the freight costs, before the order is processed. We accept credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or Cheque. Cheques should be made out to: Home direct and sent to Home Direct PO Box 58 349, Greenmount, Auckland.
2. Home Direct Lifestyle Account
Our most flexible finance option, the Home Direct Lifestyle Account helps you get the things you need now, while paying for them over time. Once accepted as a Home Direct Lifestyle Account customer, you can shop to the limit of your credit and make regular weekly or fortnightly payments with the ability to pay off your account as often as you like. This arrangement is called a revolving line of credit.
The amount you pay and the length of time you have been keeping up payments, determines how much you can purchase each time. (Note certain products cannot be purchased on your Lifestyle Account, these products are clearly marked beside each product price).
All products purchased through your Lifestyle Account are delivered to you free of any additional delivery charges. There is a $5 per month account management fee and is subject to 19.5% interest per annum.

3. Hire-Purchase
Home Direct Hire-Purchase allows you to purchase a more expensive item now, with an extended period of time to pay it off. We offer Home Direct Hire-Purchase on all small electrical goods, furniture, stereos, TVs, DVD recorders/players, home theatre systems, mobile phones and some infant products.
Throughout the website and catalogue you’ll see tags next to each product. Hire purchase is calculated on a 52-week repayment plan, interest charged at 19.5% per year and a minimum deposit of 20%. The weekly Hire Purchase price is shown in the yellow Hire Purchase tag period and includes a $40 set up fee. Prices shown do not include delivery charges or any other charges that may apply.
4. Lay-by
This is a popular, convenient option that allows you to plan ahead for Christmas, birthdays, weddings, or any special event. Home Direct Lay-By lets you regularly put a small amount of money towards a specific item with no interest charges or account fees, making this a very affordable alternative.
All HP products are also available to purchase by Lay-by. Prices shown do not include any account fees, delivery charges or any other charges that may apply.
5. Shopping Vouchers
If you choose to join Home Direct’s shopping Voucher scheme, any credit balance in your Lifestyle Account is automatically used to purchase vouchers on a weekly or fortnightly basis. This also means you don't have to stop and start your automatic payments even if there is nothing you want to buy in the short term. Allowing the Shopping Voucher holder to purchase Home Direct goods at a later date when there is something you really want.
6. Gift Cards
If you are struggling for a gift idea’s Home Direct Gift Cards are agreat idea, you can purchase them using your Lifestyle Account, online or over the phone. Home Direct Gift Cards come in: $25, $50, $100, $150, $200, $500 options to suit any budget*.
Gift Cards can be redeemed online, over the phone or on our mobile shops. In order to shop using a Gift Card Home Direct we do require the name address and birth date of someone over the age of 18, to enable us to deliver the product and provide after sale support.
